No, you’re absolutely right. Limitations invite creativity, not inhibit it. Practically every paid project you take on will have limitations—best make friends with that fact early on.
You have to know the rules, and understand why they exist, before you’re competent enough to break them. I have to tell this to people all the time, and the number willing to listen is minuscule.
Thanks, I appreciate it! It happens to everyone to some degree, missing out on a project you actively want to do. I wish it was turn over to blame on this one, but no; just wasn’t important enough to remember I guess.
I’m sure you’re killing it, you always do. I actually requested to do the cover and logo design for this series about 8 years ago. I was told “it’ll likely never come out here, but if it does, it’s yours”. That didn’t happen obviously, but I’m glad to see it’s looking good.
I think they’re great apes, actually. Why don’t you like them?
As the original letterer of this series, I feel this is actually somehow more in line with the spirit of the scene than what Grant originally intended.
I remember that shit as well, very strangely.
How does this exist? The game isn’t even that well known—or is it more well-known now? Definitely belongs with you.
