It is a stone chair Pipa and it's a mystery when it was built. It's thought to be linked to a nearby stone circle which is thousands of years old.
Thank you for the Barcelona photo it's excellent. When I visited I took quite a few phone pics. I wish I had bought my camera with me though.

Girona looks like a beautiful city, I love Catalonia. I visited San Cugat with work 3 years ago and the region left a big impression. I have a Catalan friend who lives in Barcelona, it sounds like your relationship with Spain is very much like Wales relationship with England π

Sounds Ideal Bob, it's always been Cornwall and The Lizard for us, as much as I love Talacre it wouldn't be much of a holiday being on our doorstep π
As I was only born in 69 Bob it was all before my time but it sounds as though it was a real melting pot of a community spoken of with great fondness by those who lived there.
And in the late 1960's the inhabitants of the Warren were offered council houses in the village of Gronant.
The Warren ran along land between Shore Road, Gronant and Talacre, it's name came about from the huge rabbit population released and bred to provide sport for the shooters, and food for Talacre Hall Estates who owned the land. In 1920 the Warren was offered for sale due to crippling death duties.
Mention the renowned Warren at Talacre to anyone who remembers it,and they will tell you of a happy endearing community noted for it's larger than life colourful characters, where the residents lived for a time in old caravans, wooden shacks,old double decker buses and railway carriages.
It was known as "The Warren" Bob. My kids who were both born here (5 mins from Talacre) were part of a school's Theatre production at Theatr Clwyd which told the tale of The Warren and it's inhabitants. I found a bit of history, I'll paste it next.

Making the most of the sunshine at the local beach, Talacre. built in 1776. Legend has it that it's haunted with sightings of the old keeper tending the lamp being common.
