🚨 ProPublica (one of the most respected investigative journalism organizations in the country) has sued the U.S. Department of Education.
They say the Department of Education is refusing to release records about how it’s enforcing civil rights protections in schools.

It’s painfully obvious that school vouchers are structured in ways that contradict their stated goals.
At first you might think, “Wow, these are being implemented in the worst possible way!” But then you realize they’re working exactly as intended: to preserve racial & socioeconomic segregation.
This is so disrespectful.
Not only did they hang Charlie Kirk on the side of the U.S. Department of Education, they hung Charlie Kirk and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the same time.
Charlie Kirk was never even a quarter of the man Dr. King was.
The case isn’t over, but the Court is signaling that the parents’ constitutional claim is strong.

BREAKING: In a late-night emergency order, the Supreme Court sided (FOR NOW) with parents who challenged California school policies which allowed students to use a chosen name and pronouns without forcing them to disclose to caregivers.
Important: this doesn’t automatically release the money :/ It means the court order stays in place and this forces the Department to go back and justify (or reconsider) its DEI-related cancellations.
