Born in 1981 from the Claimants Union, the 1 in 12 Club grew from a self-managed social centre for the cityβs unemployed into a thriving hub of DIY culture, rooted in anarchist principles of co-operation and mutual aid. Exploring that legacy has been truly inspiring.
Weβre thrilled to finally share what weβve been working on for the past year!
Our project At The 1 in 12 Club uncovers a remarkable story of liberty, equality and solidarity at the heart of Bradfordβs radical history.
