Well you have to be elected to a position where you can actually enact legislation. He outlines specifically what would benefit the American people, with facts and figures and examples. Perhaps Bernie isn't the problem perhaps it's US citizens too brainwashed to vote for their own best interests.

One of the best most efficient systems of electricity production in Canada -from Quebec, good place to live. I live on Vancouver Island, which is great but I will be travelling Canada this year. Can't wait to revisit Montreal and Quebec in general.

The vast majority of oil in Canada is used by gas powered vehicles. Most of our electricity is clean energy from hydro power, nuclear, solar & wind, as well as natural gas.
Over 50% of our gas usage comes from automobiles. If we can reduce that by even half it represents a huge benefit.
Medium& heavy EV commercial vehicles are one of the fastest growing sectors.Gas powered semis are on their way out.
