Went to a zoning hearing board meeting last night where setback minimums were the main issue at hand. While there may have been an original intent, at present setback minimums not only restrict what homeowners can actually do on their property, but also arbitrarily constrains housing supply.👎

Today is the first day of Centre Gives! As someone who works for a nonprofit advocating for marginalized folks, I'm a little biased on who I'd donate to.
I would certainly recommend donating to those that potentially face issues based on cuts to grant funding. We need community now more than ever.
Fun fact! More service members have died as a result of training accidents from the beginning of the GWOT to the end of our occupation of Afghanistan, a sizable chunk in aviation. If you ever want to know why, just ask any former aviation related service members (pilots, mechanics, avionics, etc.)
Last night our local ACLU chapter virtually hosted Aida Hozic. She was very thorough in the dissection of authoritarianism in the United States, and it was a wonderful talk.

We don't need anymore cowardly institutions. We don't need any more institutions that are more concerned with their bottom line than the people around them. We need them to stand up, fight, and use their resources to protect the communities that they claim to serve.
During last year's Pride Month, Penn State Health affirmed the importance of gender-affirming healthcare in eliminating health disparities among marginalized groups. Now, they are willing to throw all of that away despite having scientific and legal standing.

I do not think that Penn State Health can claim that they are following evidence based medical guidelines for clinical treatment of LGBT+ patients any longer. The organizations that they claim to draw their guidelines have repeatedly said how dangerous this is.
