You know the best way to kill AI? Don't use it. Don't buy it. Don't share it. Don't give the people who use it your labour or your money.

Not hard to guess whether renters, possessing no ownership stake in this place, are included in the mayor's definition of an HRM "shareholder".

The premier of Nova Scotia’s ENTIRE plan is based on oil and gas extraction. He just said it on air. That is his only plan. Our biggest industry is tourism and he just cut $$ to tourism, arts & conservation (all reasons why people come here).

“Business cases” 🤬 A 👏 GOVERNMENT👏 IS 👏 NOT 👏 A 👏 BUSINESS 👏

We give taxes to governments so they can do what businesses can’t. Provide vital services to everyone, not just those who can pay. Teach kids our history and traditions. Give dignity to seniors. Make this a safe and decent place to live.

If local governments want to provide relief from high gas prices RIGHT NOW:

1. Quick build bike and scooter lanes that are languishing as plans. Call it temporary, just cut the process theatre and make it happen. Get staff to scope more.

2. Flex general funding to run more transit service.

In 1932, two newlyweds packed a folding kayak with:

• hard-boiled eggs
• chocolate
• strawberries
• two bottles of brandy

Then they pushed out into the Black Sea as refugees from the Soviet Union.

The day hundreds of protesters stormed the Nova Scotia legislature | CBC News Nearly 30 years ago, unionized construction workers took over the Nova Scotia Legislature during a budget debate in protest of a new law.

I was working in the House when construction workers stormed it in 1994, and nothing like this was implemented following that.

There's a difference between feeling unsafe and uncomfortable.

MLAs are not unsafe in Province House. Closing down the second floor to the public is a cowardly move. They did it because some of the MLAs feel uncomfortable with the cuts, and won't admit it.

Over the years security at Province House has been beefed up considerably. There are security cameras throughout the building and outside the legislature. The place even has its own police force now. This is clearly an attempt to shield government members from being questioned or criticized.
