If youβve been to a 50501 San Jose protest, youβve probably seen @batmanofsanjose.bsky.social helping out.

"Let us be clear: fewer rights do not solve homelessness β the only real solutions are housing and supportive services. Notably, today's gimmick does nothing to expand the very rental assistance and supportive services that have already reduced veteran homelessness."
Jacob Freyβs police department permanently evicted the only encampment in Minneapolis yesterday and circled the block for hours threatening to arrest anyone who came back to set up their tent.
My little mutual aid team has fundraised over $250,000 in rent support over the last 3 months JUST for families at our neighborhood school.
$1 million for the whole city does NOT come close to meeting the scale and depth of need in our city.
Fuck Frey. This is unacceptable & will cause harm.

Yesterday, our volunteer observers saw 13 detainees board an ICE Air flight, which flew to Alexandria, LA.
Since January 1, we've noted 79 such flights at MSP, which have carried away an estimated 3,127 people to detention centers in Nebraska, Louisiana, Texas, and beyond.

Donate to the Rapid Response Network in Santa Clara County which helps protect undocumented communities from ICE Your donation will help support families whose head of household/primary income has been detained, with rental assistance, groceries, medical bills, and diapers. It also goes to operations generally, for example to print materials, flyers, responder supplies, and if we fundraise enough, to support our capacity in responding with legal services to support detained folks and also for sustaining our 24/7 dispatch. 1. βYes, things are scary right now,β he said. βThings are dark. Things are darker than theyβve been in a long time in American history. But being scared isnβt going to change anything. What we need to do is we need to get up and we need to do something.β

Iranian National Dies in Mississippi - 17th ICE Related Death Since December 31 By Izzy Ramirez
Fifty-nine-year-old Pejman Karshenas Najafabadi is currently the 11th person to have died while in ICE custody this year that we know of, and the 17th ICE-related death since the killing of Keith Porter on December 31, 2025.

ICE has no place on our college campuses. We all have a role to play in ensuring schools and our communities are safe from the regimeβs secret police β and our next organizing call will focus on specific actions you can take to help.
I genuinely believe weβd be in a much different place today. If every single day of any Trump presidency there has been a new impeachment filed with all Democrats voting for at every opportunity. Even if there had never been a republican defection it would frame things far more accurately.
AOC came out swinging against age verification legislation and somehow the entire tech press seems to not have noticed?
If you're scared of protesting or a general strike because you could lose your job, healthcare, and housing, or even go to jail, now you understand why the US has no universal healthcare or housing and no guaranteed parental leave, but DOES have the largest prison and police system on planet Earth.
The Iranian girlsβ school was hit by a US tomahawk cruise missile. NPR has confirmed the footage.
1. Major news out of San Jose State University.
The University has REJECTED Trump's demands to ban trans people from bathrooms, dorms, and other facilities.
This comes after Trump threatened them for once having a trans student athlete.

In California, attorneys are successfully filing emergency petitions to free immigrants from ICE custody.
βICE doesnβt have to operate this way. Itβs clearly in violation of the law. Theyβre losing cases over and over again.β

Estimated cost of Trump's war: $1 billion PER DAY.
That's enough to pay for
- Medicaid for all 16 million people losing it because of Republican budget cuts
- AND daily food stamps for all 41 million people who rely on them
Imagine if we had a government put people over profit.
Democrats have offered to fund all of DHS with the exception of ICE and CBP, but the GOP wonβt allow a vote.
Demand that your Democratic Members of Congress keep holding the line on DHS funding and refuse to expand Trump's capacity to terrorize our communities just because he decided to bomb Iran.
