Can confirm. Back when it got very cold and wet here in southern Idaho, I would get home covered in a frozen layer of fog. It got so bad, I would have to undress in the garage then walk nearly naked to the shower to warm up. This was at night too, closing bartender.

More like, to avoid when it rains nearby. My mom grew up on a reservation in NM and they learned as kids to avoid dry riverbeds when rain was on the horizon. After the storms passed she and her friends would head out to find stuff from tourists. She said they found a few bodies as well.
