These facilities are only meant to extract our resources so that big tech can fuel their AI ambitions and make their billionaire friends richer while Minnesotans deal with skyrocketing energy bills, depleted water supplies, and increased emissions and pollution.

The Minnesota Greens were happy to join other community groups and organizers for a press conference at the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority to demand that MPHA stop all evictions and call upon Governor Walz to enact an eviction moratorium.
Yesterday, Greens joined thousands of Minnesotans to demand ICE end their operations and leave the state.
This morning, they shot and killed another legal observer, Alex Pretti. Our hearts go out to his family and we stand in solidarity with the community he was protecting.
It may have felt like -25° out there, but the streets were hot today! I'm proud to stand with thousands of Minnesotans in protesting ICE's attacks on our communities.

This is the ninth ICE shooting since September. We need to abolish ICE and put these agents on trial.
ICE agents have just shot and killed a legal observer in Minneapolis. Our hearts go out to her family and the community she was protecting.
ICE has only brought chaos, fear, and now death to Minnesota, and they must leave immediately.

Yesterday was the city's first early voting pop-up event and it was a huge success! It was great to let students at the UofM know about their opportunity and have their voices heard. Overall, around 450 votes were cast yesterday (as opposed to 99 at the same event in 2023).
