Comet Tsuchinshan earlier in the Autumn, viewed from Galloway in South West Scotland, where our skies are very dark, but often cloudy..
It’s not been a great autumn for viewing the night sky, with long periods of thick cloud obscuring some exciting events.. I was lucky on a couple of occasions to get stunning views of Comet Tsuchinshan, this one on the 19th of October.

🔊 Exciting news! The 🏴Scottish #DarkSky Observatory will live again! We were all so upset when it burnt to a cinder back in 2021, but yesterday we bought the land for its new home, deep within the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park! 🧵1/3 🧪🔭 #astrophotography

Amazing! We were so excited about Comet Tsuchinshan this Autumn we forgot how cloudy it can be in Scotland, however, the sky did clear on a couple of occasions..
