This is an 8 pound granite set of mortar and pestal. Of my stone (marble, lava, and serpentine) sets, this baby does the heavy duty work. It's significantly bigger bowl is also very helpful when doing quantity grinding. Works great for: flower, leaf, stem, and seeds.

About my "Porch Troll" persona...

It's actually not a persona. I am very much this way. In talks with my mom recently, she said that I wanted to be a Hermit and grumpy old man since I was 5. I have finally arrived at my dream.

I relish it. Despite the grumpy, I love teaching and helping.

Well, damn! I put away the altar a few minutes too soon...

Got it all tucked away back in the house. Plop back onto my Porch, light a cig...

Then the Jehovah's Witnesses arrive enmass! A flood of them!

*shakes Troll fist at the universe for missed comedy opportunity!*

You'll see beautiful tools, crystals, and various things posted. For me, I've decades of very slowly choosing each thing. It's a literal lifetime of collecting everything.

Entire altar placed on carrying tray. Wrapped in the silk cloth and a secondary, thicker paux leather cloth. Lighter on top of cloth to be put away separately. Offering saucer left on white porch column until the rosemary blossoms dry up.

Altar packed up and ready to go back inside to put away.

Incense finished, breeze took out the candle flame.

Offering plate with rosemary blossoms will stay on the porch until dried out.

Secondary reason: neighbors' kids outside playing now. No need to traumatize them with peen statues!

Water magic. When my emotions surge, I reach out to the element of Water for help. Being AuDHD, my emotions have always been deep and strong. To the point, I began suppressing expression of them as a toddler in survival mode. I figured out that no one in my life wanted to deal with either extreme.
