It took Marcy - a new mom who has been through so much - a bit to get the hang of nursing, but now she’s doing great!
She has more vet care ahead, and one of the other alley kitties has mouth issues that make eating unbearable painful, and… 7/9

This little miracle happened because a bunch of people who care deeply - rescuers, vets, all of you - didn’t do the easy thing. Didn’t give up, didn’t walk away, didn’t just keep scrolling. They came together to make a difference. To save lives. 6/9

Trash, crumbling houses

… emergency vet care. Had it not been for them, loving, gentle Marcy and her kittens would have died alone, her body laboring in fruitless agony as one of the two already-dead kittens blocked the way. 💔
Instead, they were saved. Instead, they are safe, and warm, and loved. 4/9

And thanks to the amazing cat rescuers who scooped her and 12 others up out of trash-strewn West Baltimore alleys, saw something was very wrong, & got her into… 3/9

But the vets didn’t give up. They did all they could to revive them - & brought them back!

MARCY UPDATE! 📣
Thanks to the awesome vet team at Timonium Animal Hospital who fought tirelessly for her, not only did sweet street kitty Marcy survive her emergency c-section - beyond any expectation, all *three* of her surviving kittens did as well!
