I try to avoid thinking about politics or, indeed, humanity en mass, but what is happening in the USA atm is surreal and actually quite terrifying.

I have been listening to techno played by @waynedjc60.bsky.social whose skills I only really grew to appreciate a number of years ago when I heard him do an on-the-fly mix which was EXCELLENT and exciting. Imho real DJs don't need to pre-programme their sets....

One of the reasons I began DeepDownDirty was because producers whose music I played on my show told me re burnout from producing music requested by labels.
