I still had to know that Powershell exists, and the vague kind of things it can do. My foundational knowledge of what scripting is and how it works was helpful too. But I'm not a software developer, I'm just good at googling how to put code together. And Gemini's better at that than I am.
Today I used AI to write a powershell script that saved me a few hours of boring manual point & click. It probably would have taken me that same few hours to write the script on my own. Gemini did it in a couple minutes, and improved on my original request. Sitting with this.
