Completely selfishly, I need help when I'm down.
3. Do less VRchat and Resonite. It doesn't matter if I can hang with supportive friends, drinking culture is pervasive enough and I can't keep myself away from it.
4. Be more upfront. Tell people I'm not drinking. Don't make weird excuses like "I got a headache tonight" use aa chip if I need
Things I'm doing different:
1. No booze in the house. I thought I'd be okay with a bottle of cooking wine but I drank that anyway.
2. Drive to any social events. If I know I'm driving, I would never drink.

After a couple, I stop worrying about things and start to be a lot more social.
Then I get buzzed and my body just wants to get all tingly and warm.
Then I'll start to sober up, want that buzzy again, and drink as much as I can as fast as I can and black out.
Anyways. Lesson learned. I'm trying to not beat myself up and just use this as something to avoid next time.
I'm posting this here to keep myself honest. Not going to pretend it didn't happen, but I didn't want to keep the drunk posts up.

When I got dropped off at home I intended to go to bed but drunk me got into VR instead and found a drinking group and I broke into the bottle of wine I was saving for soup and the emergency "in case I can't handle it" tequlia I forgot about.
Woke up on the floor.
Coworkers didn't remember I was sober, or the bartender forgot or something, but when they ordered another round and another round. Didn't realize till later it didn't have the red stick.
I'm not trying to blame anyone. It's 100% on me when I was the one who decided to go to a bar.
Went to a bar last night with coworkers. The menu specifically said "all cocktails can be made non alcoholic" so I got one of those.
It had a red stick in it to show it was the non boozy version.
Yesterday did not end well.
Gotta clean up and move on.

I think the biggest challenge hosting a vore convention would be meeting the food and bev minimum for the hotel contract.
If you ever hosted a vore con at your hotel, you'd probably make sure rooms were fully paid in advance.

I have to inject myself once a week now, and this is gonna sound dumb but icy hot or biofreeze on the spot 20 minutes before makes it way less noticeable. It's a tiny needle into the fat so not a big thing but I swear I could feel the liquid in there. Nurse told me to try and it works
