New job is taking all my spoons but spent a little bit of time tonight on the herbalist room. ♥️

All in miniature. Many tiny glass jars filled with a plethora of things including fruit, shells, seeds, and berries. Two small scrolls are also on the desk.

Last week before I start work again and I've been working on miniatures like a fiend.

Tales from the job hunt. Was very excited about an interview I had with an organization here in VA. Hadn't heard back in over a week so sent a follow up. Got a response that the person I interviewed with was let go and the job is currently on hold.

I'll be hiding under my desk if anyone needs me.

I mean, that's a good coping strategy. Mines included making tiny squids out of clay and old alt country records.

Season 4 of Only Murders in the Building is delightful though its concerning that my childhood crushes are absolutely old men now. Not sure what that says about me.

I've been unemployed since October 31st due to a mass layoff at the company I worked a year for. I'm hanging in there but the emotions are a roller coaster. I'm fighting with how much of my identity is tied to my work. How do yall face this and overcome? Looking for insight and advice.

I really love it. I was gifted about 19 HoM kits and I've only put a few of them together so far. You've inspired me to do more with them. I do some of my stuff from scratch but I also modify broken and old pieces I find at thrift shops etc. It's fun. :)
