But I think it's extremely risky and harsh to have this narrative of reporting that casts doubt on the whole report and ability for Murujuga to manage the rock art. Given we are all hoping for World Heritage status.

Was it involved DWER scientists in discussion about how the guidance values are presented asking for changes? If it was only for the nitrite graph, then why this one? Were the guidance values and information all presented in a table fairly? I do need to delve into the report more to work this out.

In general, I think the work has been conducted in an extremely scientifically rigorous manner. It's a worry that someone involved is concerned that this particular guidance line was removed from the graph but I think we need more information.

I was excited today to visit the Uni Adelaide metal isotope lab 🤓. But I was even more excited to see my fellow woman in science and colleague Naomi Tucker front and centre as a famous Antarctic scientist in the Mawson Building 🙌

A stunning (but bit warm) day teaching on Rottnest Island yesterday. UWA GEOG1106 students undertook activities on measuring microclimate, the impacts of boat moorings on sea grass, Quaternary landscape change and water quality of salt lakes and importance of their microbial ecosystems

I had a great time at the WISH workshop at Uni Canterbury field station. Australian and NZ researchers got together to discuss warm intervals in the southern hemisphere and how we can progress our knowledge on interglacials, rates of change and impacts on people #climatechange #palaeoclimatology
