🚨 Slight update: the administrador from REN (the entity that takes care of the energy in Portugal) is giving us some info on the incident and it was a power overload on the Spanish energy network (due to Portugal mass importing energy at the time of the outage)

🇵🇹 Had a fairly normal day, apart from the energy constraints. However, people in the south are having trouble getting back to their homes due to the amount of people using public transports. Also, tons of citizens went “overboard” and started stocking up tons of food and water, as well as fuel

A really fancy email, from a Japan based company wanting to invest in tech startups, and after some light digging I found out about 4 other websites that use the same images, of the same people, for their “testimonies”.

A sad day indeed.

It blows my mind that NASA is able to receive data from 4.67 billion miles away, but I lose Wi-Fi signal in my kitchen.

I’m going with JavaScript as I believe I’m more into the ecosystem.
I’ve coded some python in my life, but I feel like I’ve got more done with JavaScript (and I’m not saying that it’s better or more efficient, just a case of “it worked just fine last time”). Anyhow, I’ll go with JS with JSDOC

Usually I like to watch a few videos to relax, but lately I’ve been wondering in the lands of Skyrim once more!

I’d say low-level & typed programming languages.

Sure, in the beginning it’s nice to have a neat python code, but with that I started to see some flaws within these kinds of implementations.

It might be a preference thing, sure, but now I just love to see my explicit types and memory management!
