The Welsh lads tried their hardest but it turned out exactly how I feared; a one sided hiding with Wales’ attack as blunt and one dimensional as it has been under this coaching team. It may have worked in the past but not anymore. The game has moved on and we don’t have the players to get gainline.

Thank goodness we got rid of Alex King and went back to Rob Howley taking full charge of our attacking game!

Watched the whole of Ted Lasso season 1 so far today. Great show entirely built on characters. The football is relatively minor.

Confirmed. Looks okay. It’s a great story so I hope the animation does it justice. Hopefully not too many creative liberties.

What I would particularly like to see is that for any professional player who is forced to retire they continue to get their wages for a further 12 months and a programme of support and training for what they can do next. But it’ll boil down to not enough money no doubt.

Just watched the England 2003 Unbreakable documentary on TNT Sports and it was a real eye opener. Those are the players who won a World Cup. What about all those professional players who have also been spat out by the sport into the real world. All athletes need better support beyond retirement.

Sounds like we are heading into a lockdown for 24 hours with stay at home advice around South Wales to avoid Storm Darragh. Sports fixtures are being postponed. Things are closing. Even my Tesco click and collect order has been cancelled.

Tried to drive to Birmingham today but I’ve not seen flooding this bad. Multiple detours only to find more roads flooded and rivers which had burst their banks. Turned back having failed to even get out of Wales.

Thank goodness the Springboks dropped their standards in that second half because it kept the score below the worst defeat in the stadium. Much like last week there was only one team in it. But players like Jac Morgan worked their absolute hardest and will be feeling all those bruises. #WALvRSA

Brutal first half for Wales with South Africa in total control. Heroic defending but a bit like last week you feel that all these tackles will take their toll and in the second half the spaces will open up for the Boks to rack up more tries! #WALvRSA

For the record getting rid of Warren Gatland does not solve the problems in Welsh rugby right now. There are far bigger issues to deal with. However, I cannot be convinced that a defensive coach of a team conceding 52 points at home should be retained. #WALvAUS

11 consecutive international losses in a row for Wales. The worst run ever. But that most recent loss wasn’t even close, losing 20-52 shows where we are at right now. #WALvAUS

The rugby was looking grim for the first 20 minutes or so but mercifully Wales have come back into making an actual game of this. #WALvAUS

Looking forward to another strong weekend of international rugby union. Some BIG games. Can Ireland bounce back from defeat last week this evening? Can England topple the World Champions? Will France against the All Blacks be as entertaining as we all hope? Will Wales set a new record of losses?
