honestly i think the selling point of romance for me (and where it usually fails to land) is 'can i imagine these people sharing an in-joke' like, are they in cahoots. can they laugh together. do they have a similar enough or at least complementary enough outlook that they can connect over something being funny (even if it's funny in a fucked up way! sometimes those are the best in-jokes!) that's not necessarily true love in and of itself, but it does feel like an essential component to me

Kept a tally of @drunkbard.bsky.social 's lotr movie marathon drinking game that was impossible to actually play to see exactly HOW impossible it would be. the answer: pretty bad! plus side: I'm very hydrated!

yeah I remember there being a couple. i ran as a druid for a short while before defaulting back to priest during legion.
mostly just contrasts against the usual "zombie-ing" you can do through pulls in xiv lmao

at the very least raiding in wow was always a trip. boss randomly deciding to do its raidwide 5 times in a row during a dps check can make your healers sweat
tho healers get more powerful tools in general since in combat rezzing isn't much of a thing... at least when I was there.

loved raiding in WoW, throwing out the worst healing spec abilities, and just getting a ??? in return if they even bothered to notice.
though admittedly priest was a special level of funny because all your chosen abilities sucked. barely impactful.
so if SE went that route we'd all be fine /joke
