Also, the way that the technology is deployed at scale, with no regard for the environmental, health, or economic impacts. Water shortages? They don’t care. Electricity becoming unaffordable for ordinary folks? They don’t care. Emissions from illegal gas turbines hurting people? They don’t care.

As a technology, LLMs are not inherently evil, In practice, they’re a perfect expression of the Epstein ethos: Do what you want, consent be damned.

You can see this in both how the models are trained and how the technology is forced on people who don’t want it.
