There was a little museum in the middle of the prison, but I cannot express strongly enough that it was also full of living prisoners

When I studied abroad in Russia we visited the (active) prison where Anna Akhmatova was once held (kind of a choice, in retrospect) and we were instructed not to touch anything because of a TB outbreak. Submitted w/o further comment w/r/t this outbreak at a local high school.
