+ i agree with you on the improper pacing making the story a bit janky, but imo i think that's the root cause of the 'show don't tell' issue. i think my biggest issue with the show is i much prefer the charm/style/characterisation the pilot had which makes me very biased</3

I agree with a lot of these points lol i think you phrased it way better than me (mostly cause i just like nitpicking.) imo I think season 1 charlie has the best character but her pilot version had the better potential and a much more interesting personality if that makes sense(?) 1/2

You'd think patience would be a strong suit for characters who are hundreds of thousands of years old. It's atleast explainable with the demons (temptation, impulse getting in the way) but the angels like Sera and whoever have no excuse. She's not sheltered, uninformed or naive, just straight dumb.
