With the use of a wearable biopatch, researchers can capture real-time vital signs from outdoor workers to better understand the pathophysiological mechanisms triggered by extreme heat exposure. This is a promising technological tool developed by Roxana Chicas and her team at Emory.

Bill in Georgia Senate would restrict transgender public employees’ access to gender-affirming care A bill introduced in the Georgia Senate that would prohibit the state insurance plan from paying for gender-affirming care moved forward Tuesday.

Now they are prohibiting essential care. Simply cruel.
