I remember Ford pardoning Nixon. I felt shocked and cheated then and I am still mad about it. If Ford had allowed legal consequences for Nixon, the events of Jan 6 may not have happened because Trump is a coward; and perhaps we would not presently find ourselves in fear of losing our democracy.
