Just watched Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me for the first time since I saw it at the pictures when it came out. I didn't cry this time, but it's such a difficult watch. Horrible.

I recorded a few bits and pieces for that show in 1985. Mainly gig guides, but did interview Stephen Pastel and David Keegan. I was incredibly nervous, but they put me at ease, bless them. Sadly lost the original reel to reel recording.

Went to a trattoria he had covered in Milan. An old railway workers joint. Food was cheap. Wine was even cheaper. We initially thought we'd snided the wine, but it was on the receipt. €5 for a litre carafe. This was at dinner time, do likely more expensive later on.
