1982?
@robotforster
I like the robots, I like The Go-Betweens, Godzilla and proper Avengers. FC United founder member. Salfordian on the up in Prestwich, Lancashire. Aristocat person. Fanzine lover. Shove AI up your arse.
1982?
No. Two legs.
Believe it or not, there is a marked-out helicopter landing site in Heaton Park. I think it's been there since the Commonwealth Games, so is a bit 'pre-loved'.
God bless. ;-)
Dashed off in a single weekend would obviously align it with the original source material.
A red poster with a yellow graphic of a flood light. The text reads 'FOOTBALL CLUB OF MANCHESTER. COURSE YOU CAN MALCOLM. THICK RICHARD 2PM BE POSITIVES 2.10PM 14 MARCH'

Just watched Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me for the first time since I saw it at the pictures when it came out. I didn't cry this time, but it's such a difficult watch. Horrible.
There was a second, Cardiffians, but the production is a bit lumpy on that.
The Devine and Stratton LP, The Prince of Wales, is as good as anything she did. Includes a cracking cover of Bizarre Love Triangle.
The people's poet.
I recorded a few bits and pieces for that show in 1985. Mainly gig guides, but did interview Stephen Pastel and David Keegan. I was incredibly nervous, but they put me at ease, bless them. Sadly lost the original reel to reel recording.
You'll have really hit your stride by the time you mount the stage at The Peer Hat. Expecting fireworks. π
@mtmiseryband.bsky.social and @heyhumdrum.bsky.social were great tonight in Levenshulme. Strongly suggest you give Juice Pops an ear-wigging as well.

Um, Fort Campbell middle school would like a word. We have many schools on bases, and Bolton knows it. More ghoulish nonsense from war Hawks to justify the murder of little girls.
Been looking for an excuse to buy a bike. This may be it...
For some reason my version, purchased from our pals at Monorail, is Graham-free. Might have to camp outside his place, biro in hand

Went to a trattoria he had covered in Milan. An old railway workers joint. Food was cheap. Wine was even cheaper. We initially thought we'd snided the wine, but it was on the receipt. β¬5 for a litre carafe. This was at dinner time, do likely more expensive later on.

As far as I'm aware, Stan isn't an apologist for fox hunting so the scales tip in his favour.
Westminster Meeting House raided by Metropolitan Police again. Statement: βFor Quakers, faith and action are inseparable. Peaceful protest, prayer and nonviolent action are integral parts of many Quakers' religious life. Whilst we take the planning of criminal acts very seriously, we believe that this incident is a deliberate targeting of committed young people who want to make our country a more equitable place. This raid is part of a systematic stifling of dissent. That this is the second time in a year that the police have raided our meeting house dramatically illuminates the broader trend in the UK of cracking down on those who disagree with the government. The right to protest is fundamental to our democracy. It's a key part of how people make their voices heard between elections.β β Oliver Robertson, Head of Witness and Worship Quakers in Britain, 5 March 2026
Yesterday evening, for the second time in a year, the Met Police raided Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrested a number of young nonviolent activists.
