No reason to switch because we’ll have access to all of the candidates. It’s just Idaho’s wonky closed primaries that force us to switch so we can participate. Several of our neighbors and my husband’s coworkers have done the same.

I’m so relieved. This kid needs to know that they are loved unconditionally for who they are. Being a trans kid in Idaho is brutal enough but to have the only parent option they have completely break them down is gutting.

to top off my day, which started out really good before the shit show, I just changed my party affiliation so that I can choose the least of the evils Idaho has to offer. Idaho has closed primaries. If you're a Democrat and want to have a say in who our governor is, have to change party. I hate it.

Today is not letting up. Now I have a kid that’s suicidal. Not my kid but my kid’s best friend. I have no idea what to do short of going to their house, telling the awful parent there that they can get fucked, and take the kid to the ER. I seriously don’t know what to do.
