Not complete but at a good point to take a break, and I think its quite usable
dm me with comments , ideas etc
I cannot believe our work is finally out there and in @journal-evo.bsky.social ! This was an enormous group effort!
We provide an updated estimate of the number of buzz pollinated angiosperm species, genera, and families, look at consequences for diversification, number of transitions, and more!

New paper by former MSc student @christeinecke.bsky.social! β A behemoth effort to apply artificial selection on clonal reproduction in #Mimulus guttatus. We show that clonality evolves quickly, but not symmetrically in both directions, and multivariate life history traits are altered too! π§ͺπΎ

Christina presenting on Texas polyploid phlox
Awesome (allo)polyploid Phlox presentation from @christeinecke.bsky.social β¦ a ton of fieldwork behind it #Botany2025
Embarrassing
Awesome. Thanks, @harvard.edu for looking out for your grad student community.

I'm missing #Evol2025 @sse-evolution.bsky.social this year, but representing the lab is fantastic grad student @isabeaulewis.bsky.social speaking on Mon Jun 23 in Evolutionary Ecology III at 2:45 on kin discrimination in #Mimulus plants!

As a Harvard international graduate studentβ¦ Iβm sad. And scared. Really scared.
Still have yet to hear anything from the international office @harvard.edu

For American students planning to start grad school who are reconsidering their USA offers (or had offer rescinded), my Canadian university #QueensU announced a special funding call. Want to join my lab to study #plant #evolution? Get in touch!

Thatβs of the least egregious demands unfortunately
Frightening that something like this can get you abducted by the American government
I hope every single Tufts parent out there calls the University and their reps about this.
Finally here on Bluesky! βοΈ
