Oui, l’écart CSP est réel. Mais les catégories INSEE sont assez larges, ne captent pas toute la vulnérabilité sociale. Les données pointent aussi des surmortalités bien plus marquées chez les enfants de familles immigrées ou en grande précarité. Je trouve que c’est complexe que « cadre vs ouvrier ».

C’est sûr, si on pouvait régler la mortalité infantile en opposant ouvriers et cadres, ce serait simple. Mais la réalité, c’est qu’on réanime très tôt en France, un choix éthique qui plombe nos stats. Les inégalités touchent surtout les plus précaires, pas juste les catégories de l’INSEE
