Can't recall a specific moment OG Gideon almost died. But DnD Gideon was on the brink of death in Curse of Strahd. A wraith more or less one shoted him with Life Drain while exploring the Death House. If it hadn't been for our groups cleric, Gideon would have died right there.

#tavqotd Gideon's over all design hasn't changed much from when I first drew him. But since then, he went from only having freckles on his face to having it on his entire body. Top surgery scars were added when I announced that he's trans. The only thing that has changed the most are his clothes.
