Today at work I got to tell the community that the refugee family we've been trying to get here for at least 4 years made it to Toronto last night from Pakistan despite basically every possible obstacle and I so rarely get to give good news in this job but it's so great, everyone is so happy.

If there's one thing I've learned from all my years of working in non profit, it's that annoying people have the capability to get so much done if you are able to give them a goal and let them be annoying about it. The unfortunate side affect is that you will be annoyed by them the whole time.
