Hand-turned fountain pen by @barrelandnib.bsky.social on a quilt square. The pen is stabilized maple paired with a stormy resin: deep grey and black with white and paler grey swirls.

I’ve been working through the mail that accumulated while I was gone, and this lovely pen arrived either late yesterday, or early this morning.

Even Bill said his hands were too cold, it was freaking chilly.

Brilliant! I saw the end results, amazing!

I get so close, but always feel like the material isn’t quite clear enough. Hmm?

Was in the 20’s today and with no heat in the shop was a bit too chilly. So much to do, but it is what it is.

How well did this work, I use a dowel and wet dry.
