Started today with traffic violence at the intersection closest to my house. Two car t-bone accident, both cars knocked off the road, airbags deployed. Everyone looked OK, but my heart stopped when one of the drivers reached into the backseat and pulled a tiny baby out. 1/2

And what’s crazy is it’s now “know how” given “political will”. Community leaders even figured that out.
Previously I’d probably want to layer on a bunch of caveats to this kind of statement but not really any more. We really do know how to bring down violence in cities and communities.
