This is in Seattle though?
@cshannonpdx
I post about maps, GIS, and environmental chemistry, and now there’s also a lot of energy and Portland posts, some microblogging. Coauthor on a paper on bird population modeling. Reviews everywhere: "She's too direct." Portland, OR
This is in Seattle though?
My city but water fluoridation up for public vote in 2013 and it lost and I’ve been screaming this from the hilltops ever since then. RFK, Jr. is so awful and he’s been promoting this stuff for years.
That was that “talking about chocolate cake incident” right? Absolutely insane story that I can’t believe people forgot.
Campbell has a nice downtown with a wonderful tea shop. It’s a great town for more density!
Phillip the escaped Cooperstown goat with weird bug eyes
This goat has witnessed unspeakable things
Wood plank on the ground near a sidewalk that has “HOLE” spray painted on it.
It’s good to see there’s a graffiti artist in Portland that’s also a fan of Courtney Love’s band. #pdx
wearing a high visibility vest while posting so the verification team can see me better
That was their whole thing though back in the 80s and 90s – Reps and their think tank people would say things like that and then be like, “Calm down, feminazis! It’s a guy in a suit saying it, it’s obviously metaphorical!”

March 11 marks the 15th anniversary of the 3rd-largest seismic event ever recorded, the magnitude 9.1 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. Recovery from this devastating event is still ongoing. Research into ways to make our society more resilient to nature's unpredictability continues.
The Lloyd Center should have been torn down 5-10 years ago and replaced with housing then. We could have saved that congressional seat by 2030! #pdx
I'll post the link, if I can find it again.
Thanks for the explanation for all the billboards. There's a hilarious thread on reddit about why there are all these billboards suddenly.
I'm pretty sure that poster is Australian. I wish there was a "REDCOAT" labeler for UK and AU based accounts that post a lot about US politics.
LOL, I saw that reply to you, thought it was wildly rude so I blocked them. Just checked clearsky and they immediately blocked me too. So they're one of those Very Online people. Thanks for cleaning up my feed!
Is this Rockapella?
That article is behind a paywall, but based on what other people have said, its not "there was this one time I had an item in my cart I forgot to scan and I just left instead of going back to pay for it" but rather people who planned ahead to steal stuff and rationalized it later.
"It sometimes feels like everyone I know steals from Whole Foods."
Maybe the writer needs to find better people to hang out with? *If* any of my friends do steal from luxury stores for some reason, they at least have a sense of shame not to say so.
In 1597, John Gerard describes 9 different daffodils growing in English gardens, but dwarf varieties such as Tête-à-Tête are not amongst them.
