These changes profoundly impact coastal agriculture, aquaculture, wetlands, and mangrove ecosystems, with cascading effects on food systems, carbon cycling, and ecosystem services. This session invites contributions that explore the biophysical and socio-environmental dynamics of coastal landscapes, with a focus on understanding, monitoring, and managing ecosystem change. We welcome studies using field data, remote sensing, and modeling approaches to assess land-water interactions, track carbon dynamics, evaluate the resilience of coastal agroecosystems, and guide adaptation strategies. Interdisciplinary work that bridges natural and social sciences or engages with community-based solutions is especially encouraged. This session aims to foster dialogue across disciplines and geographies to advance coastal sustainability and climate resilience.
