One thing about Bryan, you can't say he wasn't consistent in trying to sort out the world...

As always, when we share a new Shoot!, we share the player profile!

And got a lucky haircut according to the last edition
And a five-bar gate. And sat his O-levels with his arm in a sling.
I love when Shoot! did that
Golfer Arnold Palmer etc......
Glad he made clear that it was the golfer Jack Nicklaus he wanted to meet, and not some other Jack Nicklaus
I'm surprised Tomaszewski didn't name Brian Clough as the person he most wanted to meet!
Yeah I cross post on here, just in case Twitter one day sinks into the sea!
I didn't know you were here! How fantastic π
Perry Como is beloved by 70s footballers......
Saw him at South Shields at Simonside Hall in the 60s, playing for Sunderland reserves in the Northern Premier League. He slagged off a player for not passing to him; was roundly booed.
Yogi was a legend.
Perry Como?
Never had the career his talent deserved
Perry Como storming it in the Shoot! profile stakes.....
Another Perry Como fan.
Good taste in iconic cars though.
For completionists, Bryan Hamilton is the latest member of our famous 2 profiles in Shoot! club
By 1976, he'd given up trying to save the world......

π΅It's impossible π΅
It's interesting because my thought was always that when the Shoot! photographer came round they got the trendy records out.....
Which makes me think they thought Rod was the trendy record?
Surprising given his choice of Rod Stewart. Both he and Bowie started to make it big around the same time, Bowie earlier if anything.
Maybe it was his less than macho image that put players off naming him
While playing him full blast at home.
Indeed. And the ghosts of that night continued to haunt English international football for decades thereafter.
And then Poland turned out to be a serious side, could have made the WC Final but for the downpour in the West Germany game.....
