A photo of a geothermal power plant. A tall column of steam rises straight into the sky, lit warm orange at the top by the sunset. The facility sits out in a dry, open landscapeβgrasses in the foreground, low hills behind.
"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and a richness to life that nothing else can bring."
-Oscar Wilde

A square collage of nine close-up photographs of spring flowers in soft natural light against blurred green backgrounds. The blooms are mostly yellow and white and include cowslips, several varieties of daffodil and narcissus, a white daisy with a golden centre, a glossy winter aconite bloom with a green ruff, a bright yellow leopardβs bane daisy-like flower, and a starry lesser celandine. The arrangement creates a cheerful patchwork of early spring blossoms.
In Norse mythology the goddess Freya is associated with the return of spring. It is said that as she wanders over the earth shaking her curls, spring flowers flow from her golden tresses and a warm breeze is created by the swishing movement of her green cloak. #LegendaryWednesday

This image features a close-up of a Snake's Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris), a distinctive wildflower known for its nodding, bell-shaped bloom. Key Details β’ Pattern & Color: The most striking feature is the checkered pattern on the petals. It displays a mosaic of deep purple, maroon, and pale pinkish-white squares, which gives the plant its common names like "chess flower" or "frog-cup." β’ Structure: The flower head is hanging downward (pendant) from a slender, bright green stem that curves at the top. The petals are thick and waxy, tapering slightly at the bottom of the bell. β’ Background: The flower is framed by soft-focus foliage. To the left, there are small, rounded leaves with a reddish-purple hue, likely from a Barberry (Berberis) bush, which provides a warm contrast to the green stem. β’ Lighting: The scene is brightly lit, with sunlight catching the top of the flower "bell," creating a slight overexposure that emphasizes the delicate texture of the petals.
Good Afternoon Bluesky Family.
I spotted a Snakeβs Head Fritillary (Fritillaria meleagris) in my neighbourhood recently and took a photo with my Canon EOS R50.

Photo of a mass of daffodil-shaped flowers but the blooms are smaller than classic daffodils. The centers are yellow while the spread petals are a creamy white. Massed together on thin green stems against a backdrop of brown leaf litter and a large gray rock.
Today's blooms are daffodil-like but I'm not sure of the exact kind of flower... narcissus? jonquil? I always get confused ππ±

I think the unspoken part here is that Mandelson had very clearly been at the heart of all kinds of things, for many years, and that at best nobody seems to have showed even the slightest curiosity about what his actual role was and why the fucker was everywhere with his fingers in multiple pies.
I think they must have played a trailer for THX before the showing of ROTJ I saw in 1983 (age 7) and thats how it got into my head. I remember seeing Jedi quite vividly, I don't remember the THX trailer before it but it's the only explanation I can come up with π€£
This film provided the visuals for a series of recurring nightmares I had in my childhood (People in white with shaved heads on an escalator, black armoured cop with a massive gun) it was only when I actually saw the film as a young adult (to my bafflement) I realised I hadn't just dreamed it up...
