It’s a bit of a pattern, following the PA fiasco: RCP London finding yet another way to screw their own trainees.

People made life & job decisions based on those exam results THE YEAR BEFORE LAST 😡

Keep saying these things. Truth is important.

I’m not going to leave X just yet - I hate that sense of being driven away from a place I used to love. But after one day on here, I already know how much prefer it.

They would need to go and get an actual degree in medicine to get the correct foundation, then the necessary FY and GPST jobs. It is a complex area, and the existing idea of PAs being “generalists” is at a basic level, not commensurate with being a trained GP

Irish equivalent of the GMC says it’s not the appropriate regulator for anyone other than Doctors

GMC had the same view in 2014 as the UK ‘Independent’ Regulator of Doctors

However it was ‘persuaded’ by UK Govts not long after Charlie Massey joined in 2016 🤔
