I was astonished and delighted to learn that Slings & Arrows was remade in Brazil as Som e Furia (Sound and Fury), just fully transplanted and translated into Portuguese!
My Portuguese is non-existent, so I can’t vouch for the translation, but the characters and scenes are an amazingly close match.

At best, they treat laws (national and international) as optional.
At worst, they openly discuss laws/rules of engagement as obstacles to be overridden because those pesky laws and codes of human decency get in the way of American/Christian/masculine power.
And they call their enemies ‘criminals.’
