They are, but there’s no reason to cede ground in these other areas. Lake and Geauga barely moved this year.

I wouldn’t necessarily write off NE Ohio. Lake, Geauga, Summit, and Medina all have a significant educated population. Geauga especially. He just needs to cut into rural margins and claw back voters along the Erie coast and hope Dem turnout in the cities is good.

I honestly have no idea lol. It’s the third most educated county in the state. Trump and Harris increased their raw votes from 2020 but Trump got a little more. It still swung left relative to the state and the nation.

The biggest leftward swing in Ohio came from Union County. The southeastern portion of the county is growing and more Asian voters are moving in, which helped Harris flip a few precincts! It’s a small county, so it should become more competitive *relatively* soon.
