He’s been to see the friendly vet, at 17 he’s got plenty going on BUT he gets to see another day.
Still got some spirit in him that’s for sure.

An article β€œMore than one million foreign nationals are receiving benefits”
(March 17, 2025) referred to the number of β€œforeign nationals” receiving
benefits, and gave the rate of benefit claims for various nationalities. In fact,
the particular DWP data on which the article was based recorded the
nationality of claimants when registering for a National Insurance number,
rather than the nationality at the time they were claiming benefits, so that
some claimants might have since acquired UK citizenship, and would not be
foreign nationals at the time they were claiming benefits. This correction has
been published following an upheld ruling by the Independent Press
Standards Organisation.

Fully *one year later*, the Telegraph has been forced (by @ipso.co.uk) to admit that it was lying about foreign nationals claiming benefits.

Rarely bother watching live Prem games on telly, this Newc v Man U game, the commentators have spent more time giving out score updates on other games and confirming last nights results.
Is it an editorial/production decision to do so and spoil #motd highlights?
There’s no need!

As a Wiganer, I have first hand experience of how austerity and the abandonment by Westminster & the red wall has played out.
But I never anticipated such crushing levels of poverty or self destruction as this. #skol #wafc

You might just see Fudge on the scrounge. Might be blind and deaf but that nose is still pretty good.

Just a moment before seeing your post, I was scrolling through the front pages on the bbc website.
The 1/4 stuck me too, my internal voice shouted β€œfuckoff”
I also laughed at how selective they were with the photo of Rayner, when they were busy bringing her down, they went with a large wine glass.

She’s a beauty isn’t she!
Our old boy was about 1 when we got him from the rescue, he’s at least 16 now.
He’s guided by nothing but his nose now. He enjoys a mooch & sniff in the garden, we’ve tried him in a rucksack style bag & 2 different trolleys. This side on bag seems to be the most successful.

One of Stuart Maconie’s books mentions that, he says (like most of us) his introduction to spag bol came in the form of a tin.

That’s a good point, I don’t recall crisps being made here.
We’d all have had the knockoff wonky ones with you codes to work out the flavour. Like we did with no label heinziziz.

A 10p masterpiece!
