I meant to make a whole BUNCH of four panel comics about all the old Gamera movies, but never did.
In the RPGs I keep trying to make, the Continents are all giant turtles, made by the Sea King when the Land King dragged all of the natural land underground because he was to fearful and distrusting of the Human race and the Moon Goddess. So NATURALLY the Continents have big ol’ Gamera tusks.

Vernal Pool Tadpole Shrimp are invertebrates and do a lot of molting of their carapace along the way to gaining size. In well-populated pools you can often see shed carapaces/molts just floating in the surface or around the margins of the pool. Makes it nice and easy to determine presence! #inverts
