I actually got out of the house today and went to a flea market. Got sunburned, bought a postcard for a dollar. It felt good to get away from the computer.

I know that it's silly, and there's much more important things going on, but man I'm so mad a how EA is wrecking the game I love.
Looking forward to see which cc creators reject this marketplace nonsense so I can support them insteadπ
I don't mind cc creators having a patreon, doing a short early access period, etc.
But I feel like being able to make big bucks on custom content has really changed the sims cc community for the worse, and it bums me out.
You've got to be kidding me. Absolutely no way I would buy player made cc this way.
I can't say I've ever seen an scrambled egg mountain before π€. But, when at a novelty restaurant might as well try the novelty eggs! (Also, I would totally hang that menu cover on my wall.)

Gotta keep going ππ¦

We gotta come up with a better system than βeverything rests on whether these twelve billionnaires are niceβ
Nothing tanks the old self esteem like getting a government ID photo.
Nope. Catherine O'Hara can't die. I refuse to accept it. π
Vibes are bleak. Try to take a deep breath, and then find something (small or big) that you can do to help someone who needs it
The back end of a bobcat walking away from the camera. It has a slightly curly bobtail. The bobcat is mostly brown with black spots, but the end of it's tail is bright white.
Bonus blurry bobcat bobtail.
A bobcat sitting on a brick wall, framed by olive tree branches. It's looking towards the camera looking regal.
It's probably not good that the bobcats are so used to people now that we see them often, but they are so cute, and they are still skittish enough that they will take off if someone goes outside.
a poorly drawn wizard cat, wearing a pointed hat and holding a wand, floating diagonally
the wizard cat raises its wand as a magical burst begins to appear behind it, what could it be?
a magical cloud fills most of the frame, containing handwritten text that reads: βyour 2026 will be awesome!β
the wizard cat appears very small and distant seen from behind with its little cape spread wide, creating a cheeky farewell after casting its spell
wizard cat has a very important message
You did make me feel better! It really helps knowing everyone is dealing with stuff too.
I really hate having social anxiety. It sucks irl, and for some reason it extends to online too. In fact it's almost worse online. I want to be more social! I want to post and reply to other people's posts, but I struggle actually doing it. So dumb.
Seriously though, Gaston is one of my favorite villains. He's just a perfect uncomplicated self absorbed big dumb jerk.
What would his backstory even be for goodness sake.
I do not want Gaston backstory, I do not need Gaston backstory, I reject Gaston backstory
he is a fully formed oaf, consuming eggs by the dozen in one of the greatest villain songs ever written, and that is all we need of him
Really glad to see some big name Sims creators leaving the EA creator network over the buyout. Doing the right thing is hard sometimes, and I'm proud of them for making that decision. Hopefully more will follow.
I'm totally obsessed with Coral Island now. Why didn't I try this game earlier?
Hooray for the MeowMobile!
Fact!
Time to make my yearly birthday wish. Please please please let it rain today! βοΈ
I am very anti AI, just in case that's not clear, lol.
Went on Pinterest for the first time in forever to look at home decor inspo. Like 75% was AI slop. So gross.
Well that's just crappy. Those little books were such great souvenirs.
If you are unfamiliar, they are a micro-targeting publisher of local histories and their books are found in many gift shops, museums and local attractions. Buyer beware!
Oh I totally think it makes sense, especially in college and being able to go with friends! That must have been so fun. Honestly, if I were local there's no way I wouldn't have an AP, crazy prices or not. I'd be there all the time, lol
Lol, yeah, the prices are crazy now. I had an AP for a long time, but not for several years. I wish I could go more often, but also I think I appreciate the trips I take now more than I did when I went 4+ times a year.
That must have been so fun as a kid to have Disneyland so close! My parents waited to take us until they felt my brother was old enough to really enjoy it (he was 4).
