Every breath you ever took, every memory, every hope… all of it will wither inside me until you’re nothing but silence.”* His glow dimmed, swallowed by the crystal’s endless black heart, and I reclined deeper into the velvet couch, already craving my next victim. The shadows clung to me like worshippers, and the room seemed to pulse with my power. One soul devoured. Another imprisoned. And eternity stretched before me—hungry, waiting.
