oh.
@aegis242
A heap of broken images. Still looking for life's blueprint. I like birds, cats, drawing/painting, writing, reading, gaming, and coffee. Sinister Minnesotan that loves it here. I'm also a fan of Sephiroth, so things might get kinda weird at times.
oh.
I finally lost my shit about so-called AIs, LLMs, enshittification & everything fucking evil that @officialgrammarly.bsky.social is doing. I'm fucking furious, and not just about what 1 company has done. An open letter to Grammarly & the rest of the LLM hype machine www.moryan.com/an-open-lett...
I am so excited for "Safer Sephiroth" in remake part 3. I'm thinking they'll change his name though. Probably "Sephiroth: One Winged Angel" or something like that.

aw this is cute!
I've been thinking a lot about overstimulation.
I think that (at least for this autistic fellow) we suffer from more than just SENSORY OVERSTIMULATION.
(sound, smells, etc)
I think all of THIS (gestures to the world around us) is overstimulating too.

I am really sorry things are shitty β€οΈβπ©Ή sending hugs through the interwebs π«
yes! yes!! it was honestly baffling to me to see the sh:f dev team assert that their game was somehow different than the previous sh games (especially 1 and 3) in the assertion of its themes. because the early silent hills have always had some varying degree of feminist critique!
soft vinyl polygon Sephiroth figure
haha yay he's adorable
the polygons are so cute I can't get enough of these things
we are going to make a bigger one so then I can do "don't talk to me or my son ever again" π€£
Figurines of Brady Bunch and Partridge Family fighting each other
I have created a diorama of the Partridge family attacking the Brady Bunch family. My life is very boring.
two word horror story:

Jello Biafra is hospitalized after a hemorrhagic stroke on Saturday. He's stable. True to form, he joked "I've fallen and I can't get up" mid-stroke.

A detailed, central close-up photograph of a stout mourning dove perched upright on a blue-green metal wire feeder ring. The dove, with its soft brownish-grey upper parts and peach-buff breast plumage, is the dominant subject, facing slightly right but looking back towards the camera with a dark, pale-ringed eye. A distinctive black teardrop-shaped spot is visible under its eye, and subtle iridescence can be seen on its neck. Its pinkish-red, scaled feet grip the wire perch. Below the perch is a red metal surface (part of a feeder base) with a few scattered birdseeds. The background is a bright, lush, sun-drenched natural scene featuring a wide green grassy field leading to a dense line of mature, leafy trees under a bright sky, all in a soft, blurred bokeh. The bird's feathers show detailed texture.
Very prim and proper Mourning Dove today π #Birds #Nature
yeeeah so this was my last foray into social media, I think
was there with forums
was there with facebook/twitter - look at those now
never bothered with threads, insta, etc.
I came to this one because it was new, different, and FUN ... but I fear that will be changing (more than it has) soon. :(

WHY the heck am I seeing a large influx of nsfw stuff in my feeds? PLEASE use the labels and alt-text. I am sure I am not the only one who is 100% NOT here for that.
I'm actually a major MST3K fan.
My entire family was into it for years and we STILL quote 'Overdrawn at the Memory Bank' all the time.
It's is a must-watch alongside 'Space Mutiny', 'Puma Man', 'Girl in Gold Boots' and of course...
'The Final Sacrifice' with THE Zap Rowsdower π
My photo shows a Roman floor mosaic depicting an octopus. The octopus is composed of small black tesserae (tiles) and has eight writhing arms with suckers and narrow curling tips. It is set against a white tesserae background. Octopus detail from a monochrome marine mosaic featuring Triton with a cherub and various sea creatures, including the octopus, dolphins and a cuttlefish, at the womenβs changing room at the Central Baths in Herculaneum.

Saturday, Feb. 28, at 10:41 a.m. There was a report of suspicious activity near Wenham Lake, where a vehicle was parked on Cedar Street. The driver, as it turned out, was just enjoying views of the lake.
Small-town police logs are a great reminder that we could probably significantly cut the budgets of many departments. And also that people need to mind their own damn business.
nemesis is so funny conceptually. the ultimate bio-weapon. an undefeatable hunter. millions of dollars of research from the most evil corporation on earth. its target? a specific division of a single local midwestern police department
Is it bad if you've only been working for approximately 40 minutes, but are already out of patience and wishing you had taken a sick day?
Probably. It probably is.
A screenshot of an online convo 1st person - a girl I was dating once asked me what I liked about her. I rattled off a list, super easy, gave her a kiss, and smiled. She nodded, took a breath, and asked meβ What do you like about that thatβs not in service to you?β This question rocked me and is one I think most men should ask themselves about any woman theyβre seriously interested in. Response- Respectfully, men need to ask themselves this about women in general, not just women theyβre interested in. Patriarchy teaches men to believe women exist for them. Like women are just waiting around for the next man to need/want something from us so we can be who he wants us to be. A smiling face, a listening ear, someone to consume. Seeing women this way is dehumanizing. Until a man can see the full of humanity in women as a Collective, he should be focused on therapy not dating.
do you like women, or do you just like how women make you feel?

The world is on fire, there's a new international crisis every day, politicians do nothing to help the cost of living crisis.
FFS, just let people fucking enjoy things without yelling at them about it for clout. People need escapism now more than ever.
