Can you even imagine what we could accomplish, all nations, scientists, engineers, doctors, everyone working together for the betterment of humanity and the only planet we have? Religion, nationality, color, gender all become secondary to preserving life and protecting one another. Just imagine.
A son of sharecroppers, a Freedom Rider, a moral force in Congress, John Lewis taught us that democracy is not a state, it is an act. When we see injustice, we do not look away. We get in good trouble. And we build bridges despite adversity. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Congressman.
Protest peacefully. Protest in large numbers and stick together and go out in groups of citizens and perm residents.
Protect all marginalized people. Seek safety and help from neighbors. Help your neighbors.

It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.
It will always baffle me how easily people will believe that the poor, the sick, the marginalized, and the immigrant are the cause for all their problems, rather than the people in the most powerful positions in their country who refuse to fix problems and exploit them instead.
