NYT: In an interview on Fox News, Trump said that Maduro wanted to negotiate in the final days before U.S. forces captured him but the American president said he rejected that offer. “I didn’t want to negotiate,” he said. “I said, ‘Nope, we got to do it.’”
Trump says Maduro wanted to negotiate but Trump refused. This is a war of conquest. A smash-and-grab for oil.
People are going to try and lure you into debates about whether Maduro was a good guy or not and the thing is, it doesn’t matter for the purposes of discussing whether violent kidnappings and extrajudicial murders by the US government are ok. No, they aren’t! End of convo.
Trump just bombed populated areas in Venezuela & abducted the president and his wife. Just as Bush/Cheney in Iraq it's about oil. Trump classified Fentanyl a WMD weeks ago, something Venezuela does not traffic, as a pretext to attack. The GOP is forever the party of forever wars.
