The weather as well as all the horrible things happening rn can definitely have an effect on concentration. I have been using my free time for other hobbies in the last few months, so that's a huge factor for me as well.

📖 The six deaths of the saint was so beautiful. I think I have found a new author for my favorites list. I cried. It was my favorite read in March, Acotar aside.

📖 Also sooo good! I am amazed how Alix E. Harrow manages to put all the lore and charafter building into such few pages.

📖 Ring shout was surprising and so over the top in the best way possible. Loved the protagonists.

📖 Artemis by Andy Weir let me down a little. Loved the Martian but didn't really vibe with the characters and story in this one. Still it make me laugh a few times and therefore it got 3 stars.

📖 I re - read Acotar. What can I say? I am weak for these idiots.

📖 House of Good bones was a really fun read! I adore T. Kingfisher's characters. Always 💚 but I didn't love it as much as What moves the Dead.

I'm getting better at dnfing books I don't enjoy, and it's kind of freeing to just let go of them 😁. Can only recommend!

📖 Ushers was so short but so fun! It's only 29 pages and all the characters feel so alive, I want a longer book with this protagonist so bad!

📖 I was a little disappointed by Lucy undying. Didn't feel it at all tbh.

📖 Hell house is a product of its time but I loved the lore and ideas and Fischer. He's my fav of the cast and needs to be protected at all cost.

February was not a super productive reading month but still. Sometimes life is just exhausting and all that. Also I sketched and knitted a lot, which I really enjoyed.

I think I prefer this heel to the boomerang one, because it's much less prone to holes.

I think in english it's cap heel? Or classic heel? I'm not sure 🙈 In german it's called Käppchenferse.
I only used the boomerang heel so far.

I saw some booktubers use the dnf graveyard idea and I think it works out great for me so far. 💚😊

My old habit to NEVER dnf a book put me in huge reading slumps. Your method sounds interesting too though! 😁💚 I already put aside 2 books so far (a huge step for me 🤣). They'll get a new home in the free library around the corner.
