Fair, fair
Fair, fair
Look at how John Tonje did in the G-League today
I understand that sentiment. Certainly what coaches sometimes gun for when getting themselves ejected.
But I canβt help but feel that JBβs leadership has greater impact when he overcomes officiating by playing through it. All conjecture, of course.
Disappointed with all that happened with JB. Tyler Fordβs mistakes are clear, but JB has to be better at overcoming those types of moments.
The Celtics fail to surmount the gameβs circumstances despite D-White, JT, and RHJ leading the way. Bounce back against the best team in the league.
42-22 βοΈ
Lid on the rim
He heard me π
YEAAAHHH JT
Garzaβs 5th foul ugh
JT has to help generate a small run now before heβs rested in preparation for clutch time
Sigh, terrible
But he was still a starter then, right? Iβm thinking that being the 6th man again might let him have more open looks when Wembyβs out
Queta in during this stretch means that Joeβs gonna use Garza as a counter during Wembyβs minutes, no?
I hear you. I am definitely not excited for that part
Gonna be tougher without Pritchard. Iβm curious to see how much Joe will be able to stagger JTβs and JBβs minutes
It will be a magnificent test! haha
That DEN-OKC game got me way more excited for the Celtics' matchup with OKC
It's a relief to see him out of his slump
I hope there would be little to know situations where he drops out of the rotation when everyone is fully healthy
Valid! It's looking that way the past two games. Garza is the direct replacement but so far hasn't absorbed all of what Vuc's minutes tend to be
Pritchard was so good in the 4Q
I hope so! JT's minutes eventually rising factors in, too
Good point. After all, the priority is creating advantages and open shots, so utilizing the entire shot clock isn't an issue.
It's just mindboggling to hear that they're last in the league in pace lol
Oh, I missed the reports about him being sick. Curious to see how (and if) his mins would change in the next games. If he continues to be a situational piece for Joe, then his mins would stay low
But consistently playing faster within set plays still results in generating more possessions throughout the game, no?
All season the Celtics have been good at generating turnovers, too, which should also up the pace
Sucks to see Jordan Walsh drop out of the rotation, even though it's to be expected after JT's return
I guess what surprises me most is the contrast with how consistent the team was with talking about playing faster earlier in the season
I am very surprised to know that the Celtics have the slowest pace in the league (I'm just getting to watch the game now)
Huge shoutout to Nick Sang. JTβs right, he wouldnβt be back and look as good as he did without Nick
Iβm guessing that episode 5 of The Quiet Work will have some of todayβs game footage
The integration was seamless. They looked great
